Honestly, just looking at the voting results in red area of my red state. Yes, 65% for Trump is a landslide, but that still means a third of my neighbors actively voted against him and all of the Republican cronies on the ballot.
But just looking around, you would never know it.
Having said that, going to the last two No Kings protests and seeing them in person was heartwarming.

Mine has a reheat button that I use on anything that doesn’t have explicit instructions with it. It heats at a lower power and I’m pretty sure has a censor (the time only starts for the last 30 seconds).
Progressive taxes are kind of supposed to take into account basic necessities and tax you more on estimated expendable income. So if you earn more, you can pay a higher portion of what you earn.
But also, I agree. Especially with cost of living being radically different depending on where you live. House, car, utilities, and grocery should all be deductible.
