You would think that an AI would have hard time knowing what CSAM looks like, except it seems like they are so good at making it that they produce stuff that is based on photos known to be associated with real cases and victims. Quite the coincidence, huh?

4·2 months agoYep. These practices were not adopted because corporations are nice people that wanted to help improve society. They were implemented because they are good at identifying talent at bargain prices.
Target actually has an entire surveillance and video forensic side business based in Minneapolis that works closely with Federal law enforcement and almost certainly worked directly with ICE and their operations in Minneapolis and is likely why they were exceptionally aggressive in that city.

Target is the tip of the fucking spear when it comes to fascist corporate/state law enforcement collaboration. They are NOT on our side and never have been.
Most, if not all, large corporations are inherently evil. Target is exceptional in that they have made a deliberate choice to make evil a core element of their business operations.
Things don’t get cheaper. They might slow down how much they are increasing in price, but don’t expect equipment to somehow revert to something less than what you paid for it.
