Yes, but mere months before winning the nom the very idea of Trump winning it was unthinkable. And frankly it still is, and only makes sense when you understand the movement original detached from Trump that pushed him. They’re who won the nom, Trump was just the easiest person to enact their agenda through. We all should have been paying way more attention to the unsavory shit happening online like gamergate, because the masterminds behind that are the ones holding the real power today, imo.

Yes but all outcasts are not equal. I’m happy to share a meal with communists, but I’ve got no interest wasting my time with extreme right-wingers.
I don’t believe they think they’ll win, but winning isn’t the goal, doing irreparable damage to America is the point. The entire goal has always been to hurt America at the behest of foreign masters, the most effective way to do that is just to ignite the powder keg of political divide that already exist.
I mean I don’t think it’s that deep. Can a joke not inspire conversation? Like, can a person not understand the levity, laugh, and then go “but really since you bring up the topic…”?
