So this is just an aside but tasers generally have reduced efficacy when you wear layers, say a leather jacket, cotton flannel, undershirt, and say a tank top equivalent layer. I’ve said this in the past but I really do think that if a civil war, balkanization, or federal weakening were to happen it’ll start here in California. Not necessarily because we are all that willing to do things but moreso because we are probably one of the more nationalistic states and Republicans would see us all butchered, all it’d take is the right pressure and the Californian nationalism will turn into burning federal field offices and mass graves.

A lot of rats and fleas aren’t carriers anymore it basically exists in a smattering of regions at this point. Fun fact every once in awhile people in the Southwestern US get infected usually either by bad luck or the occasional insane hippie eating a rat raw, no I am not joking that happens once in awhile. People need to put more emphasis on the funding thing when discussing this, Schumer and Jeffries basically lost the only thing they had to throw around. It’s entirely possible that if the Dems take the house and/or Senate either of them could be thrown from influence simply because the Congress critters don’t need to worry nearly as much about funding. Hell you could even see a situation where Schumer and/of Jeffries are pushed into supporting more progressive shit simply because the new blood can about them down without worry.

Like the Iranians could possibly due an attack on the mainland, but that’d look closer to the IRA doing attacks in England than anything else. Maybe if they got their hands on enough combustible materials you could see a port or something leveled using pre-existing materials to amplify the blast but that’s about the max.

While I’d agree with someone with any other title it’s a hell of a lot harder to counter the president especially with groups based in DC since there’s no state level institutions to work as a buffer. Also just shooting the president is quite hard so the violent counter barely exists.

Also he fired a lot of higher ups outright, the Smithsonian was hit particularly hard by Musk and his fuckboys. Even still a lot of the Smithsonian especially the elements based outside of DC are resisting as best as they can, sorta similar to park services. The problem is it’s scattered and not talked about.
