Republicans have a Nazi porn problem, again. Virginia Republican lieutenant governor nominee John Reid is facing mounting political pressure after a report tied him to a Tumblr blog that reposted Nazi-themed pornography and violent sexual content. The allegations, which Reid has denied, have fueled fresh calls for his withdrawal from the race.
The Nazi label really isn’t working as a deterrent for their base.
Its crazy to me they are seeing it as a feature, not a bug. Its like they forgot their grandfathers fought and killed Nazis to free the world from fascists.
Oh, but they’ll cry about how it’s so mean to call them fascists.
Also, they’ll pull some Murc’s Law shit and act like they were made to be fascists because of the mean Democrats…

Words and symbols have no real meaning to these people. They are more like mantras, or incantations, to elicit conditioned feelings and demonstrate whether one belongs to the group or not. Fascist has no emotional meaning tied to the term, it’s just a meaningless noise “the others” make.
