I wanna ask - for you, has it always seemed like that over the course of 10 years?

I was on social media for what would’ve been 20 years, and I feel like it was 10 years ago that enshittification passed a tipping point.

I agree. It was fun for a very long time and then somewhere around 2015 it became a political shitshow and people started getting mean. I believe that the real problem started when Baby Boomers got on Facebook and it just got worse from there.

Basically ever since my parents got on Facebook. It wasn’t immediately slammed with propaganda but the consciousness changed.

I think there is legitimately just a lag between when the losers find out about something cool.

The losers being anyone willing to say, “I can make this my identity now.”

Be it by trying to make a living off it or just spend every waking minute pouring all their energy into it.
