      This rule is really the worst I could imagine. They want addictive social media to be accessible to children still, but with extra data collection applied to it.

      Still, the panel ruled out an age-based blanket restriction, given the role of social media as an important communication tool.

      Heaven forbid we cost Facebook or Twitter a little revenue - which would at least have been a better option for the “protect the kids” crowd
