If you think they have to control the Senate in order to do anything then you are undermining the entire point of your call to action. The Senate is structurally a minoritarian body. 70% of the US population is represented by 34% of the Senate. That means that the Senate supermajority is determined by 30% of the population.

This cannot be fixed with voting.
