Former President Barack Obama tore into his successor Donald Trump in private as an “idiot” and a “liar,” a secret diary has revealed.
Obama’s frank thoughts on Trump, and on his son Donald Trump Jr., were recorded by Dr. Tony Fauci in a diary he kept, which was spitefully leaked by anti-vaccine fanatic Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
According to Fauci’s diary entry, Obama reassured him that Trump Jr. is “a f—ing moron” before apologizing for using crude language.
“But [Obama] went on to say that Donald Trump was a hopeless idiot who was a pathologic liar,” Fauci added.
Who keeps a book where they write this sort of shit down? Who does this? Is this verified? Has Fauci said “yeah I wrote all that?”
Public people often keep diaries because they may end up writing a memoir one day. Those contemporaneous notes may also be useful in a future Congressional hearing, or even a court case.
It’s not unusual, and it’s not weird, even for regular people. There is nothing wrong with keeping a diary, and a lot wrong with gleefully releasing it to the world, with the intention of hurting that person.
Fauci pled the fifth when asked, which was the smart thing to do. But if it wasn’t written by him, I imagine he would say so.
