oh please, this is the republican version of an arranged marriage.
Here’s my conspiracy brain take. With turnips rapidly declining health, they know they need the next puppet to take his place. J.V. dunce is all they’ve got but his wife will never be accepted by the cult. So, this kirk shit happens and all of the sudden they have an already cult approved stepford wife, complete with a perfect sympathy story for cover (‘he was helping me with my grief and it just happened like it was meant to be from god!’).
If any of this happens, it just feels too cooked up, a desperate throw of the dice. But, I think the magats are just the right kind of stupid and evil for it to work.
This is all just insane ramblings of a bored nerd.
Oh, conspiracy brain can go further, but any more and I feel like an actual insane person. There’s absolutely a conspiracy case that this is less an opportunity, and more of one “they” tailored. I don’t run in the circles that are completely poison brained and think that the kirk thing was a foreign state action, but there’s definitely a narrative that could be constructed there.
I won’t go further because it gets really gross and dangerous. Also, in the end, I don’t need a fanciful explanation for his death, it makes enough sense on the surface level that I don’t feel any need to go deeper.
They fuckin.
