I have no idea who those people are and the trailer doesn’t help me the slightest bit to know what’s going on.

Hah yeah it really doesn’t, does it‽

She is Elizabeth Holmes. Convicted fraudster responsible for Therenos which promised to sell miracle blood testing kits, but actually just got a lot of investor cash and conned a lot of people. Looking at this trailer, she still seems to believe her own crazy, but who knows.

He is Nathan Fielder, I guess you’d call him a filmmaker comedian? His schtick is that he’s basically able to put people in awkward situations in a way that is frankly hard to describe for me. The Rehearsal and Nathan For You are both very very unique and hilarious, but not for everyone.

I am unreasonably excited for this movie.

Stop what you’re doing right now and watch Nathan For You.

Then watch everything else Nathan Fielder has done since. Bonafide genius and hilarious

The woman is Elizabeth Holmes, the Theranos fraud.

      The film tho

On September 6, 2026, You Can See Everything, an A24 documentary depicting Holmes in the weeks before she began her prison sentence, premiered in a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival.

The woman is Elizabeth Holmes, the Theranos fraud.

        The what?

Just kidding, I just looked it up myself. She started a company with a product that didn’t exist… that’s all?

The whole story reads a bit underwhelming. But I guess it was a big deal if there is now a movie about it.

Not really a movie, just some guy followed her around a bit before she went to prison. She isn’t inherently interesting, just I think people are fascinated by a twisted mind like this. Especially because the documentary/whatever apparently doesn’t paint her in a good light, and she still allowed it. Delusional from start to end.

Surprised you’d never heard of Theranos before though. ColdFusion did a great short doco on it.

People here missing that Nathan’s mind is probably just as twisted, but in a different way.

This movie is going to be a trip.

She’s also really representative of the tech world of the late 10s on. SBF was juicer in drama, but Holmes is wild in what she managed to get away with and how long it took before anyone noticed it wasn’t physically possible to do what she claimed
