lgbtq+ dont hate this, its almost always cis white males think they can be offended for minorities, they dont need your help, in fact you are actually making things worst by playing into that victimization. people like that sound like Movie executivies of shows, that they think the audience cares about inclusivity.

i dont know why people responded as a lgbtq+ we hate this? im referring to straight men being offended for minorities.

Cis gay man here. I hate this.

Almost as much as I hate to see queer folks presume to speak for all queer folks.

Another queer here, the content did make me laugh. But I also understand it is hurtful and would not object to it being removed. We’re not only all people with different opinions, those opinions can be nuanced and complex. Nobody should speak for everybody.

Trans woman here, this is shitty.

Mocking the way someone looks and reinforcing it being a joke that a woman looks like a man is not a good thing to be doing and is exactly what I would expect from a conservative.

                Yeah.

"As a Black man, “as a feminist,” as a “gay man,” that’s the world we live in. People just do that to manipulate their audience online all the time. Politicians have been caught doing it from burner accounts.

Anytime someone asserts their authority as an ingroup member like you did, you should view it critically.

And when someone else speaks to say we don’t think something I should not say otherwise?

Are you trans or a woman? Do you think it’s okay to say women look like men and use it as a joke? Do you understand how that can be harmful.

Saying nothing in that situation is not the answer.

You saw how easy that was to discredit, didn’t you? Do you have a need to tell the world you’re a trans woman to have an opinion?
