The perpetual advice to Democrats is that moving rightward will solve all their problems. But look where the party is at the moment: already embracing Republican affect and policies, yet still losing.
That ignores them not fighting, so long after the fact I do not care to describe once again what I mean by that, but I should not have to describe to you how to play politics. We need strong leadership and we have not had that.
Everything continued to get worse so why don’t you give it a rest. If pretending like these Democrats were doing a good job worked we wouldn’t be in this position. Stop trying to bully everybody into anything like this is an acceptable job.
Incorrect, in 2021 it was 48, and Independents Bernie Sanders and Angus King caucused with the DNC to make a 50:50 tie with the GOP who had 0 Independents caucus with them.

They actually had 46 in 2021 until the Georgia Special Election results were announced.

2021 they had 50 or more, 2008 they had 60 before kennedy got brain cancer.
