They have so far, mostly. That said, they’re banking on the Supreme Court giving him carte blanche with zero judicial reasoning so that no other cities can push back.
Every willing judge should push back any precedent argument with “the courts have repeatedly struck down precedent, ruling that precedent doesn’t matter” and rule how they want. Clog the courts even more
Yeah they are banking on Lawful Evil, basically.
This takes longer but any loophole they can find they of course take. It’s all just for optics because it’s easier to hide what is morally wrong behind what is legally permissible.
