Jordanlund removed a post in news@lemmy.world because I, not even the post author, disagreed with his view of how moderation should work.

For extra pettiness, he removed my comments before removing the whole post.

This is true, but why is it that the audience in PTB seems to be a bunch of people with modlogs as long as your arm for hateful, homophobic, and transphobic comments across multiple instances and communities?

That’s not one bad mod. That’s a community of bad actors chafing against people who dare to tell them “No. Not allowed.”

Response is always the Internet equivalent of the most Karenish Karen who ever Karened. “I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER!”

It’s absolutely hilarious that you’re trying to justify your behavior by describing my modlog, which summarizes a total of four encounters over more than two years, as “as long as your arm.”

It’s also notably pathetic, and wickedly ironic, since one of those encounters was with a mod who seemed to behave such as yourself, in a particular event involving an incredibly hostile vegan calling everyone cow-fucking rapists. Yeah, apparently that’s okay, but asking them if they’re a false flag because of how absolutely unhelpful that behavior is towards changing people’s minds constitutes incivility.

Of course, it doesn’t surprise me you would blindly stand behind any mod action. You honestly seem like the “might makes right” type, regardless of how small your “might” actually is. I’d be willing to bet the only reason you’re here trolling like this is because the limit of your power is entirely within communities I’ve never once participated in.

Oh, and also, don’t you dare ever spread such vile fucking lies about me again you piece of shit. I’m going to be directly contacting the administration of your instance about this.
