Technology@lemmy.world•Anti-AI fonts are useless and harmfulEnglish
11·17 days agoRegulated by whom? You can’t really stop someone from making tensors and scraping the web. The only good way I could see it happen would be the US enforcing it’s embargo powers, but that cat is out of the bag. I don’t see how countries like China would accept it and I also do not foresee the US trying the entire rest of the world to agree to a trade embargo with China either. Especially nowadays where the US showed multiple times that they are an unreliable partner. Even open local models are strong enough to probably scrape stuff on their own.

82·1 month agoThe funny thing to me is that Lemmy users seem to be so staunchly against LLMs, that they are unable to even acknowledge the small things it truly is good for as a tool. It’s like the opposite of hackernews on here.

Ronaldinho and Ronaldo. 2 of Brazils best players ever. Ronaldo used to be the record holder of most goals shot over multiple world cups, until Miroslav Klose beat his record, which was beaten again this world cup by Lionel Messi.
