I think “i have this hardware and want to utilize it optimally” is peak Linux.
That’s the thing: you shouldn’t need to get identical monitors for technical reasons. And Wayland is much closer to that goal.

On average, yeah, but when it’s worse, it’s the most bafflingly bad.
Like why is the only way to be able to open files in a hidden folder to remember a keyboard shortcut? There’s no icon, and you can’t type a subfolder name.
Windows’ weird UX of having that temporary view setting in the context menu makes no sense, but at least I don’t have to Google how to do it every time.
Great point. I guess if there’s no flow for degoogled phones, things really are outrageous.
The “9 steps and 24 hours waiting” thing is kinda misleading: that’s once. Only the last two steps (the ones matching today’s steps) have to be repeated.
Of course that’s still an issue (e.g. you’ll only be able to do this for a relative if you see them two days in a row) but it’s much less bad than the implied “9 steps and 24 hours waiting every time”
You mean “sorry, I completely missed that”

You’re replying to the wrong person, I didn’t comment in this thread previously

Boo, that’s not even a joke, just particularly lame divisiveness.

It’s crazy that you still get replies after you constantly make shit up and tell others what they believe.
I recommend the HBomberGuy documentary on that (“vaccines: a measured response”).
Wakefield now babbles on stage on antivax cruises and doesn’t seem happy.
What a stupid-ass life: made vaccine skepticism a big thing and didn’t even get rich from it.
This one might not because it might be possible to reject its installation on that ground.
The Satanic Temple uses it to get Christian statues removed by saying “oh you have a Christian statue so in order to not discriminate based on religion, you need to install ours too”
I can imagine that the US is so prude that boobs might prevent that from working
The talking points need to percolate through Fox News until they all know what opinion they’re supposed to have.
Depends on the domain I think but yeah I don’t understand why registrars can own them and I can’t.

No, more like as if this is the straw that broke the camel’s back

The comment does contain tips on how to set it up though
It’s cheaper than what at least I thought before getting one, but yeah.

The UK is involved. What do you fucking think?
By now there’s an always-enabled service running that updates the keys from time to time. So this wine happen anymore on servers.
