Why wouldn’t you? OpenRC FTW.
If you’re running Virtualbox on Arch you deserve everything you get.

22·17 days agoOne of us is not making sense. Who does Israel represent if not their voters? Why is it controversial to say Israelis voted for their government? This shouldn’t sound like a conspiracy. Why are you trying to make a distinction between Israel / Israelis and Jews? You can’t just say “Well, all the bad stuff is done by Israel / Israelis, but all the good stuff is done by Jews.”

28·17 days agoWell of course ‘Israel’ doesn’t represent all Jews. I never said that and neither did you. Israel doesn’t represent all Jews any more than Trump represents all Americans. But, as a democracy, Israel must represent the majority, otherwise this government wouldn’t be in power. So, again, I’m still confused by your statement that Israel doesn’t represent Jews.

I’m confused. Israel is a democracy and Jews voted for their current government. How can you say Israel doesn’t represent them?

“B as in bdellium.” Or, “B as in subtle”.

Let me put it like this: Imagine you’ve won this beautiful pristine house full of potential and it cost you absolutely nothing. You can rennovate and decorate and do anything you want with it. Endless possibilities.
Instead, the first thing you decide to do is call up Larry Ellison and invite him to personally come and shit on your kitchen floor. And one day you forgot his shit was still on the floor and you stepped in it and now Larry’s shit is all through your house. And then the phone rings and it’s Larry because he’s been monitoring your house and now his lawyers are suing you for stepping in his shit.
In addition to VirtualBox being a fucking awful piece of software, Oracle is the absolute antithesis of Linux - anti-user, anti-freedom. Why would you put that closed-source, privacy-trampling, proprietary bullshit on your pristine Linux install? . Use KVM virtualization instead, or even a more modern docker-ish like solution.
