It’s strange seeing an article in something like the New York Times about my city. I’d have thought they wouldn’t have much interest in what goes on in Manchester just in general! They never seem to care about us. Usually it feels like Americans think London is the entire UK.

Bloody windy here today anyway, that’s my local news update, bit of a storm passing through, so it’s a day of rain and gusty galey winds sadly. A real change compared to the crazy warm sunny dry year we’ve had so far! Winter is finally approaching I suppose…
