Sure, the guy paid a visit, but he’s hardly a big political or social force here in Europe.
Hi there!

Why must we make everything about Americans?
Sure, the guy paid a visit, but he’s hardly a big political or social force here in Europe.
Just gonna block this account, dick move posting very upsetting phobia shit to intentionally trigger and distress people.
AccuWeather posted this meme?
Why we talkin bout the Klingon dilithium mining moon?
Everything’s fine on Praxis, don’t need help nope it’s all good thanks move along

The funny thing is, THIS seems to be the part the media is rolling with, but if you read the full details about what it can do and how poorly it’s made, tracking your location is only one thing to worry about (though it’s a big one to be fair).
E.g The potential for running arbitrary malicious code if one random dude on the internet (who is unrelated to the US government) has his GitHub account compromised? Daaaaaaawg
I dunno, obviously I wouldn’t judge my partner for it, it’s not their fault, BUT it would be a big problem for me at least initially, I need silence to sleep, and the slightest noise (that gets through my earplugs - snoring directly next to me would do it) would make sleeping very difficult.
I’ve already experienced it when someone slept over after a date (who turned out to be an extremely loud snorer) and oh boy, it was a night of torture, almost no sleep at all 😂

You deserve gold for this comment kind stranger

Who is “he” and what did he say?
This feels like a post that should include a link or an image…

The US seems to want us to be extremely focused on one small part of their war - the Strait of Hormuz. It’s all they ever harp on about.
What’s the situation across the rest of the theatre? How close is the US to accomplishing it’s primary war goals?
Why do they suspiciously want us to ignore everything else and focus on this one international shipping transit lane?

What allies?

We must continue to build our defences against US aggression.
They’ve already threatened to invade our allies on multiple occasions recently, and that’s on top of the deeply evil things they’re already doing, both to their own people and to others around the world.
We must take them seriously and protect ourselves.
They will come for us once they’re done crushing their own citizens, and once they’re finished securing their control over the global strategic and industrial resources needed for their future peer wars of domination against enemies and former allies.
It’s sad, I know, but it’s the reality we live in now. We mustn’t live in denial just because the future is scary. They will continue to do evil things like this, and eventually come for us.

What I hate most about the Independent these days is that they’re a UK news agency for UK news reporting, but seem to want to heavily report on local USA news now.
Not just big international news worthy stuff, but lots of small local area USA news.
I’ll see some headline that sounds serious, only to open it and find it’s not referring to events in the UK at all, but in the USA, which is entirely irrelevant to me.
Not sure why they pivoted to being a US news company, but I’m sick of it, so they’re on my blacklist now.

Why don’t France want to go to war with a random country for lols? Are they COWARDS?!

The American military is a den of animals and monsters. disgusting subhuman cowards; Bloodthirsty beasts.
Dehumanising people, calling them animals, subhuman, beasts, etc - using their own horrid, evil tactics basically - is not how you win me, or anybody decent, over.
They can be bad people doing bad things, but the moment you try to persuade us that they’re not human, but are less than human (and it thus follows that doing bad things to them is more acceptable than doing bad things to actual human people), you immediately lose my support.
No thank you.
In the quote he’s not saying other jobs don’t suck out your soul, just that it’s different.
In a vacuum, not knowing this guy or the rest of his statement, I don’t see anything obviously wrong with that he’s saying.
They take a mental toll on you in different ways, but they all take a mental toll, is what he seems to be saying, and I find that reasonable.
There are people who think trying to make a career as an entertainer (like in streaming) doesn’t take any toll on you at all, and that’s a misunderstanding we should dispell.
