I hate to inconvenience anyone so I avoid starting interactions at a cost to my happiness. I’m finding out that I perceive small inconveniences as much larger than they are, while most people perceive small problems more accurately, like you said.

Sorry, but being a rapist does not imply good social sense. Raping people means you are wrong about how society should function. Especially a man who did not simply make a mistake and learn, but got away so clean for so long, he decided that he should rape again and again. This is not a prosocial mind, this is base, selfish, evil behavior and most people should be able to make the distinction, and they just can’t or won’t. I don’t care if he said a single accurate thing, his opinion is worthless on the matter hence the joke of this post.

Homosexuality used to be objectively immoral and to some folks it still is. Morality is an arbitration based on our perceptions of harm, and changes over time. Jaywalking used to be the norm, but a rule was made against it to prevent harm as the world adapted to motor vehicles. The Nazi believed themselves to be morally correct in their actions. If morality is objective, then the threats to a healthy society would always be clear and accurate. Maybe. What do you think? I’m interested to know.

What we are seeing is a symptom of a bigger issue. Yes autism spectrum folks feel strange and different and terrible. Living with that gives us a resistance to those who would attack us sometimes. In this case, the autism has been weaponized into supporting fascism. OP has been hoodwinked and taken advantage of for a social media spectacle.

However, no member of this community should feel justified in trusting anyone that would threaten the livelihood of the disabled. OP’s ideas are not well thought out, but they are still reaching out for help. We are the ones that should be giving support for our fellow autist, not the MAGA.
