I know people who are still calling Snickers bars Marathons. Telling people to let it go isn’t going to do you any good, either.

I don’t mind most marine mammals, but sea lions? I could do without sea lions.

The Posse Comitatus Act makes using troops to enforce federal law illegal, it’s true, and the UCMJ does say violating the law is an illegal order. But it’s not unconstitutional, and given the order came directly from the president and given the “unitary executive” bullshit that the supreme court has been on recently, I think it might be dubious that the LA ruling would survive an appeal that made it to the supreme court.

The supreme court seems to bear out that Trump’s orders are constitutional and legal, and therefore they are following legitimate orders.

The problem isn’t that they are traitors, the problem is that they aren’t, but they should be.
