The certificate for manjaro.org was renewed only a few hours ago. Given Manjaros track record, they probably let the cert expire (again) and fixed it since the original screenshot was taken.

The only people who could afford them already have human servants. They just want sex dolls.

Not to burst your bubble, but they don’t want dolls. That’s a service that was originally provided by Epstein, now whoever has become his successor.

I have 6 for personal use, which makes accounting so much easier. I assign a budget at the beginning of the month and at any time I have a good overview of how much I spent for that duration.
To illustrate, this is how I split my accounts:

• personal expenses
• household budget / groceries. This one’s a shared account with my GF
• savings
• credit card
• rent / utilities. Pay in a fixed amount each month, slightly higher than average spending and then not get shafted when insurance or a high electricity bill is due.
• work travel. This one is the exception. It’s empty unless I travel somewhere for work, then I top it up and at the end I copy and paste all my expenses from this account for travel reimbursement

I spend less than 15 minutes each month on accounting and the only downside is that I have to set up several budgets and carry a round several cards to pay with. Once a year I go through the accounts and adjust budgets if necessary.

Japan and Poland have been stable, maybe slightly declining, since the early 2000s, and Germany has been stable for 50, all below replacement, whereas South Korea is still going down.

I am no demographic expert, so take this with a grain of salt, but for the moment it doesn’t look like the other countries are going to hit the same problems at the same severity anytime soon whereas South Korea is going to get hit by the full force of their demographic issues within a few short decades.

The growth (or in this case decline) is exponential. 1.08 is bad, 0.80 is terrifying. 1.08 is roughly half of the fertility needed for a stable population (about 2.1 children per woman). This means that per generation your population shrinks by half its size. 0.8 is another 25% lower. At an exponential rate these differences add up fast. The first one gives you (roughly) one child per 8 great grandparents. The other one needs 18. So over 3 generations the population shrinks by another factor of more than a half.

Teams pretends it’s an app that can do a lot of things at once but for literally all of the things it pretends to be good at it is the worst possible choice.
