Rutte gave the general idea short shrift, insisting Trump and the U.S. remained strongly committed to NATO, despite the uncertainty caused by Trump’s demands that NATO member Denmark cede control of Greenland.
NATO or no NATO, the EU needs an army.
European Union Defence Forces
But tbh I can’t think of anything that rolls off the tongue quite like NATO
rutte is so far up trumpywumpy’s ass, it’s insane
PSA for non-Dutch people: Rutte has been prime minister for ~14 years and has done irreparable damage to the Dutch housinng market, environment and general standard of living. Under his PM-ship, our country has shifted to the far right. He is famed for stating that he has no vision.
That man is a menace in his crurrent position.
I have never looked into his past, but observing him recently is making alarm bells go off for me. Knowing nothing of depth about him, I get the sense that he is helping to ruin the EU.
How can he be replaced?
no confidence
of course he said this, he’ll lose his job if he doesn’t
He is a glorified clerk not a boss. NATO exists at the pleasure of it’s members.
Yeah definitely take precautions "points to Ukraine*, never know when a neighbor will have too much vodka. Or don’t but think Canada has a better chance if NATO is on the ball.
