The Trump administration is tapping National Guard and Army Reserve lawyers to be temporary immigration judges after firing dozens of existing judges, the latest step in a broader plan that experts warn could harm immigration courts and the military justice system.

A reminder, in immigration court:

  • You do not have the right to an attorney
  • You don’t get a jury
  • The judge gets fired if he rules in the favor of defendants too often

Add military administration to this, and there’s a word for the system that’s created.

    Bums me out I probably won’t be alive long enough to see this administration and the people supporting it burn for their actions.

      With the way justice is run around here. Being alive won’t matter. They won’t burn till they’re dead, whether it’s hell or a crematorium
