Seriously though, seems like a good solution is to make a bunch of hangers with placards in them and place them over the cameras. It’s not defacing anything, and could be considered right of speech when other avenues of communication are illegally removed.
Ask for your encounters with Flock using FOIA.
I think something folks don’t realize about the flock situation is that the towns and cities paying flock for this data do not own the data. Like, if Flock starts using it in a way they don’t like, they let them do it.
I think this is a situation that ultimately falls victim to vigilante justice. They’re too easy to defeat.
