He has admitted in court that he purposefully killed Thompson and has pled guilty to stalking causing death.
I shot Mr Thompson and he died. I understood that my actions would place him in fear of death or bodily injury. I knew what I was doing was illegal.
His murder trial is up in the air because of rules around double jeopardy, but the fact that he did purposefully kill Thompson is no longer alleged.

/s – I have not been following the trial, had not seen he confessed to it. I still think they fucked him on procedure, and even if he’s guilty this is one case where I would like to see those procedural violations result in acquittal.
You do have to remember that pigs/prosecutors often use pressure, lies, and threats to get people to take plea deals to crimes they did not commit.
