Yeah, superdelegates negotiating a deal vs directly representing their constituencies was the core of it. Apparently she’d made prior concessions in exchange for it being “her turn” that time and the nomination was essentially decided before voting began. When things weren’t working out that way the superdelegates were told how to vote and did, the arguments where she insisted on that were a highlight of the email leaks.
