I’m a gay man. I absolutely hate people who pander to us just as much as people who hate us.

The same should apply to trans groups, I sincerely doubt every trans individual wants to be placed on a pedestal at all times.

Power trip confirmed 👍.

Oh I don’t know, maybe when you said “nothing positive about your bigotry” as in, “asking for equal treatment is being bigoted”.

You’re not a clown, you’re the entire clown car.

You claimed that trans people are put on pedestal which is not true. If you really believed in equality you would acknowledge is that it’s minorities like trans people who are not treated equal. I never considered them special so I repeat my question where your claim about me comes from

You’re not a clown, you’re the entire clown car. You sound like a 3 year old kid

It is true, in microcosms like communities where nothing ever slightly differently opinionated can be voiced as it immediately gets struck down and the writer labelled a bigot as bad as a Nazi.

          That’s the vibe here.

If you can’t handle that that is a pedestal, where you stay locked in an echo chamber of positive reinforcement, that is your problem.

My perspective has not changed from the start, whether you label it something or other. And that is that neutrality is favourable over overly positive glitter.

People should not be celebrated or booed (well, some should, but that’s not my point here in this generalisation about normal people, and before you lash out, yes that includes trans people, fucking sigh). By that I mean that if I meet someone I shouldn’t be expected to be overly positive or negative about them, I should be expected to not give a fuck. As that is true neutrality. It’s borderline apathy, and it’s equal and egalitarian.
