OpenStreetMap is a map of the world like Google Maps, but entirely volunteer made like Wikipedia.
Being one such volunteer (neeeerd), I of course dedicate my time to tasks of utmost importance, such as mapping out useless american sidewalks in excruciating detailThank you for your service (unironically) 🫡
This could come in handy for mapping disconnected pedestrian paths and improving walkability if Americans gave a crap about that.
Open source would be so much worse without the detail-obsessed nerds. People like you make things better, and I know its largely unrecognized.
