I generally assume news of a synagogue attack to be Europe, not US.
Most other instances of racial attacks sure, America all day, but that one specifically seems to usually be European.
Maybe if had said ‘shooting at a synagogue’
That and the fact that so few people died, murica and their guns…
huh?
america stabbed them?
No, the meme is saying “it’s a force of habit to blame America, when it’s so common here.” This happened in the UK.
Genuinely, since when is america attacking synagogues “so common”? I hear about daily shooting, frequent attacks on churches, but synagogue attacks seem to happen WAY more in europe than the US.
I think it’s the big picture of racially motivated violence that the meme pokes fun at in particular.
Side note, the UK is the one mirroring the US’ authoritarianism the fastest and the closest anyhow. They’re having the same narrative problem of getting the dumbest of their population to believe that all their problems are because of immigrants existing.
My first thought is always the US when there’s news of “x attacked y community/religious centre/minority with z weapon”. So synagogue attacks in the US being uncommon might be true, but that’s just something I expect Americans to add to their list of violence against their peers
What happened?
Synagogue attack i think
