I mean, I’ve got boxes full of physical books and self hosted movies and Tv. At that point, I’ll just stop using the internet. I need to go outside more anyway.

I already don’t care. haven’t watched a new show or movie in ages. I’m going through my 90’s tv collection right now and it’s fantastic.

I already assume most big companies do this. I work in IT and while we have the ability, I don’t bother. I don’t care if someone is checking FB or social media as long as they aren’t breaking anything. But this should be a warning to IT folks in big tech, they will replace you with bots as soon as they can. They don’t care about you or what you create. All they want is money and power.

good reminder to delete my account. I’ve been purging accounts that I no longer use and this reminded me that I had an account with them.

I always make up an email address. [email protected]. If they require a confirmation, I use a forwarder and forward to a yahoo account that I never use and has all fake profile info. Fake name, fake birthday, fake profile pic. I log in maybe twice per year and delete everything.

I always took that story to mean, Lot raped his daughters but then changed the story. People were pretty messed up back then.
