The latest big CS2 update broke the shader caching on my Arch box. It’s been almost unplayable for the last couple of weeks.
6·2 months agoFrom the age of 6 I rode my bike to school by myself. Mum had work responsibilities and we lived rurally so there was no bus. The ride into town was along a main highway, on the grass siding, then when I got into town I’d just use the footpaths. Other parents at my school would often offer to drive me home because they were so worried.
That was in the 80s. Crazy to think back on, now.

An unemployed programmer here who quit their job 6 months ago. Also have a baby on the way.
To answer your question - people who are totally burnt out. Some of us have been in the trenches for a long time and when you start to spiral, the world gets pretty dark. I’m not rich, I was just broken.
