Every show on Broadway eventually gets old and ends, and this is true of the DHS theater as well. Next time we get a functional government everything enabled by the Patriot Act should be critically evaluated and streamlined.

Let’s just shut the internet down then. Yet another face-eating leopard moment.
Good societies help people. This isn’t that.
Yes, the Patriot Act was a complete fuckup. And that situation was avoidable by the GWB admin, at least at that scale. Never let a crisis go to waste.
Yes, non-lethal doesn’t mean non-disabling. Think defensively, since they’re going to be the violent ones.
The real fix would have been to have a better person in the Executive Office, more limitations of their power to extreme scenarios, and consequences for them ignoring other parts of the government to check their power. Of course it would also help for those other branches to also do their jobs for the benefit of the people and not for political or other types of favors.
Murderer. But he’s President, so oh well…
Reagan was a product of the newly established Southern Strategy, which has turned out to be very successful in its goals.
I don’t see this as a win as I’m pretty sure they wanted less attention and questioning of their activities. It’s easier for them to blame the press for walking than to put up restrictions that make it look like they’re hiding things.
Cassian Andor: Well, we’ll find a place they haven’t ruined yet. Maarva Andor: I’m already there. That place is in my head. They can build as many barracks as they like, they’ll never find me.
Is this some “WW II didn’t happen” conspiracy?
I doubt it, damage has been done beyond just costs of things. Bridges have been partially burned. Reputations thrown in the trash.
If serious, whichever one works best for you. Lots of info out there to help steer you to a good match. There are some that will have a harder time than others thanks to Microsoft domination all these years.
If not serious. Arch, of course.
The old cropped graph with no labeled axes trick. Works every time.
Didn’t expect any disciple. I’m surprised we haven’t had a full escalation yet, as many potential accidents there must have been so far. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t pointing a gun at someone a last step before actually using it? As in, you should try every other tactic before getting that far, and don’t use the fear of the gun as a device for compliance? Maybe I’m just naive.
So stick with my Linux and don’t boot into Windows again. Got it.
Lots of these exploits can be very specific cases so aren’t going to threaten the average user. However the point is, Windows 10 is now a huge target and there are lots who would love to take advantage of a freshly open gate.
Depends on their goals. If they want the US powerhouse to topple, then fanning this flame is very productive.
Sounds like socialism to me.
Maybe we need a bigger version, funded by those who won’t miss the money.
Maybe not the best, but probably typical of the average.
