Fascism is an ideology, not a bundle of tactics. Levereging funding cuts against institutions that don’t toe the party line is actually just politics.

In case you haven’t noticed, Trump won.

The US obviously interfers in and influences Canada’s elections, on a greater scale and to greater effect, but the Canadian government doesn’t seem to care about that. This is despite the fact that the US is vastly more dangerous to Candian sovereignity, with it waging a trade war on their economy and now threatening to make Canada the 51st state.

There’s only a few ways to interpret this.

I want the government shut down.

It shows that election interference and influence is only a problem in the eyes of the Canadian government when Asians do it. When the US does it they’re just being friendly, I guess.

My concern is that you don’t have the “emotional energy” to worry about how this is going to make everything worse.

Trump is literally doing what you wanted, so it looks like someone reasoned with him.

So this is what you wanted. You wanted Trump to escalate the war.

Is this what y’all wanted?

Do you think this attack will help end the genocide? Or help the flotilla? Or help Palestine Action? It won’t, adventurism doesn’t work.

Synagogue attacks directly benefit Israel. It makes Jews afraid to live outside of Israel and encourages them to become settlers, it’s used by Zionist-aligned governments to crack down on all opposition to Israel, and it creates martyrs when people get killed.

The country went off-track when Reconstruction was defeated by white terrorism and the old slaveocracy retook their wealth and power. We’ve been struggling with the aftermath since then.

I will not allow Palestinians to be erased! Or any of the other mass murders of over 100,000 people! This disrespects every atrocity that has happened since the end of WWII, by saying those ones either aren’t real or don’t count.

Estimates are far higher than the official death toll - it’s hard to count bodies buried under the rubble.

Gaza is a mass grave at this point.

Really? Nothing else since WWII has been this bad? I can think of three off the top of my head! Syria’s neighbor is doing a holocaust right now. It’s like they’re pretending that nothing bad has happened since the Nazis were defeated.
