Except (A) The founders didn’t agree on much; (B) Many of them spoke at length about the need to keep laws updated to meet modern needs; and © The conclusions reached by this bullshit process of divination are always exactly in line with the demands of modern conservative politics, and have little to do with the original intent, to the extent that such a thing can ever have been said to exist.
