Goodbye horses. I’m flying over you.
Oh. Oh, oh-oh
It’s a hell of a high note.
I have a playlist on Tidal of metal songs that help me focus called “Work”. When it hits the fan at work and I have to really focus i put it on and let it play song after song until on really clicks and then I hit repeat and will listen to that song over and over.
Right now it’s Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.
Still a lot better than my Crazy Bitch phase…
Pink Floyd - Echoes.
For when you want half an hour of one song
My hot take is that the “whale sounds” part of that song is the best part of the song.
I love the whole song, but that part is my favourite.
Welp, time to mainline this song again
The Dripping Tap by King Gizzard has been my 20+min song lately
I’ve been binging their earlier discography lately. Nonagon, Mind Fuzz, Murder of the Universe, Paper Mache. Plus the excellent Muder of the Nonagon Fuzz has been my exercise jam for years.
Great song, but I think Shine on you Crazy Diamond edges it out
I spent a summer delivering pizzas high out of my mind listening to this on repeat
A&W - Lana Del Rey
“Damn you, Taylor Swift!”
…do I Have ADHD?
How many of these memes do you vibe hard with?
Pretty sure most people do this to some extent. But I think we do it more so than most, from what I can tell. Either way, why not repeat some good shit that we vibe to? Life’s too short not to often listen to the same stuff over and over
Shoebody Bop
I was having a nice morning. Now this is going to be stuck in my head for the next week. Damnit.
As payback: you lost the game
Only a week? Lucky!
Some songs work better for this than others. My first realization of this was the scene from Night Shift, where he has The Rolling Stones’ “Jumping Jack Flash” on a looped cassette in his car.
Julian!
It’s a hungry world
Security - Amyl and the Sniffers
Was listening to that album earlier today for the first time after having it on my incredibly long list of music I haven’t listened to yet that grows far quicker than I can get through it. Banger track amongst many others
I love this one Brian is the most beautiful, listening with joy late at night.
I’ve been listening to the same 3-hour fantasy setlist twice a day for months
