I know a lot of people have absolutely no sympathy for Israel and that’s understandable. But it’s the Israeli government that’s fighting the war and the Israeli society that’s going to suffer under a lack of interceptors.
Don’t fall for the war mongering and conflate any country’s regime with it’s people. The people of Israel don’t deserve to be bombed just like the people of Iran.

EDIT: What’s with the downvotes? I’m basically saying that there is no reason to be happy about bombing Israeli (mostly Jewish) citizen. Don’t you agree?

In general you would be correct, but. remember how Israelis keept saying it’s ok to murder all Palestinians because in 2006 they voted for Hamas?

Israel has been voting for apartheid since it’s foundation, and have voted for this genocide. they wanted this.

They do not deserve our friendship or our protection. They are in the same position as civilians in any expansionist colonial project.

I would not kill them, even the rapists, unless it was to stop them in the act. I do not believe in the death penalty.

But why should we keep protecting them, while they attack others who we do not protect? What does that make us?

This is still an utter generalization. There are many Israelis protesting their government, the Gaza war and the Iran war! Just like in many other countries people are influenced by hateful ideology, but that doesn’t make them a valid target.

There are exceptions, yes. But most of the ones with a conscience left when they realised what they were supporting.

Remember when those IDF members gang raped Palestinian prisoners, and Israelis were having a Right-to-Rape protest in response? You’ll never guess who just had their rape charges dropped in Israel a couple days ago.

A vast majority of people in Israel support the policies of the country. They supported leveling Palestine. They support attacking Lebanon. They support bombing Iran.

They’re just mad that Iran made their munitions to counter against their iron dome and their air defenses.

A majority, but not all Israelis. And even if that doesn’t justify cheering about civilians being bombed.

Who’s cheering? I see people not caring that the shoe is on the other foot, and the people who were having rooftop parties to watch Gaza get destroyed are now on the other end of that equation.
