That’s far from the only example of such behavior. In fact, I’d say the only anamoly in that situation was the strong stance Dems took before reverting to their usual cowardly selves.
am I missing this article, last I heard, trump was talking about extending the cuts… followed by Mike Johnson saying no we aren’t interested in that at all.
Which then I guess further follows up the question, does Mike Johnson even need to bring it up to a vote at all? Like hypothetically even if they whip the votes and get 10 republicans to defect… would anything actually force johnson to bring it to a vote at all?
