The ‘Elon Musk Is Not Your Friend’ episode was what woke me up to what a shithead he is. I’ve been a fan since it was called ‘Some News’ when they were still on Cracked.

I hope he dies in the stupidest, self-owning way possible, like tripping over his own feet and falling down some stairs. Preferably on camera.

I didn’t even know what an em dash was until all this stuff about a.i. using them came up. I’ve certainly encountered them, but didn’t know the name. I’ve been using hyphens all this time for much the same purpose, but now I’m going to start using em dashes instead.

Oh yeah, since I’ve been on Lemmy, it’s really highlighted just how vacuous the majority of the discourse is on Reddit. I assumed it was just mostly dumb kids, but just accepted it as the nature of all social media these days. It’s so much more grown up here, for the most part.

I can browse when I turn the VPN off. I no longer have an account nor the desire to interact with it’s content any way, but I do like to keep up with a few subreddits that have little to no content here.

I discovered the other night that I couldn’t even browse Reddit anonymously with my VPN active.

Reddit produces nothing. They dupe their users into doing that. Which seem to largely be bots now.

Standing on the edge of the chair on her toes in socks is giving me anxiety.

Bill Cosby was a hard one. That dude ignited my love of stand-up comedy when I was in high school back in the 80’s.
