The people doing them accept the risks. This one is particularly stupid, as at least four people all failed to notice something very important, but the majority of people who do pointless dangerous shit survive it and go on to do other pointless dangerous shit because they enjoy it.

I’d like to see an end to people trying to control others to save them from their own choices. Everyone dies eventually and I won’t choose to live in a padded room to put that off slightly.

Like drinking from plastic bottles that kills more people than Bungie jumping?

Ah yes. The only other alternative to not doing extremely dangerous things is to be a drone.

Well I’d tell that to the person that splatted onto the parking lot from a bungee jump crane, but they can no longer hear anything. Staff misjudged the weight and bunjee length. No elastic return if you don’t reach that limit.

This isn’t bungie jumping. This is someone tied to a rope and swinging off an abandoned bridge.

No need to be productive, just recognize that jumping off a bridge to get an adrenaline high isn’t that different from snorting ketamine
