Text description: Microblog post stating: “I can do anything, as long as there’s a looming deadline and serious consequences.”
Eventually, even deadlines and consequences stop being enough and you lose your job/family/home. True story.
Can confirm. I lost my job and almost lost my home. Deadlines, serious consequences, didn’t make a difference.
Relying on external stressors, survival instinct, and panic is not sustainable.
Yuuup. Burnout does not mess around. I’m thankful my wife makes enough for us to be stable. Can’t save for anything, but hey.
