But they can - and already have- used a simple majority vote to change cloture rules for specific votes., including things like trump’s presidential nominations.
There is no reason they can’t do that here, except they don’t want to.

Having looked into it, cuomo is apparently not restricted in the same way mamdani is. Basically, mamdani opted into a public finance thing that prevents how much he can spend.
Cuomo with his superPAC hasn’t so he can spend it all.

I would find it surprising if they could mass produce them in any meaningful quantity.

the Iron Dome, which is what trump wants to install (and calls the Golden Dome) was never meant to stop ICCBM missiles. It’s a system designed to catch the relatively short ranged rockets being used by Hamas and other missiles.

To put the system into perspective, Israel has about 8,500 square miles of landmass. the US? 3.2 million.
