He’s shown himself to be a total white supremacist neo-nazi. He backed AfD. He’s spent millions on political campaigns teeming with hate speech. We can’t let him walk away from that.

Really, this isn’t just a Musk issue, it’s a billionaire issue. It’s a plutocratic class issue. They want to keep their power, and as soon as hierarchy-enforcing extremist far-right movements form, they’ll be right there to bankroll and support them. The patrician class is completely adversarial to the notion of society based on equality rather than privilege, and they will bring all their resources to bear to put down societies based on community and equal treatment.

Also, we’ve seen Musk’s entire history is getting funding by lying, and making inspirational promises on which he won’t deliver. Musk is the same kind of flim-flam artist as Trump, the same kind of shapeshifter as JD Vance or Lindsey Graham.

And then he makes cars that run people over, and rockets that shake houses apart, and trucks that cut people in half.

Musk needs to be separated from his capital. In this case the means of production very much needs to be seized and restored to the people.

Pink Floyd suggested the Fletcher Memorial Home (for Colonial Wasters of Life and Limb). Musk would be happy there.

He also played a version of himself from another reality in Rick and Morty, which Dan Harmon later deeply regretted portraying him as a genius. Although that could be explained by the fact that it’s an alternate universe version of him where he’s not a fascist prick.

Lots of people fell for his veneer of competency and glazed him like crazy in those days, and there was a real groupthink mentality behind his supposed genius - he was always portrayed by the media as intelligent and then when people hear about him in passing for the first time they come to a conclusion that if that many people think he’s a genius then he simply must be.

Yeah that’s what made me find out about him funnily enough since it was so beyond stupid due to basic atmospheric dynamics that I legit got pissed at one of my teachers at the time for being excited about it. Turns out violence autism makes one weirdly aware of what are bombs.

If it makes it any better that same teacher put a crack in my conservative upbringing by bringing to my attention the party swap. Good guy and frankly speaking it probably would’ve taken me till post 2020 to really shake it off instead of 2019, which may not seem like a lot but I should note that I am infact fueled by hatred as a baseline and that reactionary slop was cheap fuel for my fire. But thankfully I am now largely fueled by my own self supplied righteous furry, though that does make me some absolutely heinous and unhinged shit. But hey could be worse.

500 million dollars could have fed so many starving people. 😞

Edit: I used a donation calculator – 500 million as a donation would feed a daily meal to more than 4.7 million children for a year. But I honestly think that calculator can’t calculate the impact of that scale of a donation. Through proper money management, that donation would grow year over year and become many many more meals. What a bummer this world chooses to be.

I am man enough to admit I used to like Musk. Deadass. I remember long long ago in the past he supposed universal healthcare and universal basic income, anyone else?

I turned on him a bit after the diver shit when he wrongly called that guy a pedophile, but then 2020 did it in for me because HE DIDN’T SUPPORT ANDREW YANG! Andrew Yang was basically right about everything, let’s be so for real.

Why did Musk not push his weight behind him. Imagine if he tossed the money he put into supporting cuckservatives into supporting Yang! We might actually be getting $1000 a month now WHICH WE SHOULD AS YANG WAS RIGHT!

Fuck this stupid, South African fraud. Deport him back to Cape Town.

Yang sucks it. You should perhaps think about who you admire more deeply.

The mindset behind a single guy / thing / policy fixing everything is part of the problem. The world is more complicated than that.

He used to have a PR team to help him with this shit.

But then at one point he fired them (probably because they’d told him one too many times that he shouldn’t do Nazi salutes) and started making his own shitposts on Twitter (it was still Twitter back then), and that’s when the world began to see the real Elon.

He’s an addict. If it’s not ketamine, it’s money or power, the same mechanisms work in all addictions, it takes a good deal of self delusion to go as far down the paths addicts go to excuse their behaviour. The more it feeds the delusion, the harder it is to crawl out of the hole it digs you

First time I heard of him was a PBS video. Where they walked around his newly starter factory where electric cars were being developed. He was semi bald then. He was saying how he just wanted to make green cars. Needed investors.

Wanted to make fast and cheaper electric cars so everyone could stop using gas.

Found myself hoping he could make that happen. Seemed like a decent guy trying to do good.

What a lying sack of garbage.

It’s entirely possible that he was a decent person at that time. There’s a psychological term that escapes me, but the idea is the nearly every one of us will change given money and power, feel that rules no longer apply to us, feel that we’re smarter than the hoi polloi.

Combine that with drugs and whatever delusions he already had, along with a sketchy family… 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s this idea of power corrupts.

It’s part of the fundamental attribution error. A cognitive bias.

The belief that if I succeed, Or have “success” (however you define that), it’s because I deserve it. I worked hard. I’m better than others who haven’t achieved what I have. Other people who haven’t achieved what I have are just lazy and stupid.

But if I fail, it’s someone else’s fault.

If others succeed it’s because they got lucky. If others fail it’s due to a personal trait. (Lazy, stupid, etc).

The farther you get from average, the easier it is to have this bias in the extreme.

Imagine you have no morals or ethics. And so you have no issue exploiting or using tragedies to profit. So you get rich from those actions.

You look around and others who didn’t do that and think " they are just stupid. I’m obviously smarter than them because I saw an exploit and took it".

When in reality , other people know how to exploit, we just choose not to because of empathy. Or , in some cases, lack of opportunity to do so. You often need money to make money.

But yeah I think so many of these ultra wealthy people really do believe they are smarter than everyone else because they look for and take advantage of exploits. That’s their whole business model.

This doesn’t make them smarter. Infact from my perspective it makes them appear to have lower intelligence.

Sure I could have a lot more money if I had no issues walking into my neighbors’ house, murdering them and stealing all their money And possessions.

I could do this a few places every night and be pretty wealthy at the end of the week.

That’s not being “smart” or creative or anything requiring intelligence. That’s actually the simplest way to make money. Just take it from someone else.

Real ingenuity is building sustainable business practices.
None of them are capable of that. Obviously.
